The key to controlling the life cycle of your component is in understanding potential degradation mechanisms determined by the operational environment. CASE brings engineering background and expertise in a variety of industrial operational environments including: High Temp / Low Temp Operation Corrosive Environments Under and Above Ground Components High Stress or High Pressure Environments High Cycle and Low Cycle Fatigue Exposure
CASE integrates extensive engineering talent, expertise and experience to generate holistic solutions to component life cycle control including: Component Assessment Quality Assurance Testing Materials Characterization Material Contamination Detection Lifespan Prediction Comprehensive Failure Analysis Defect and Fracture Analysis Failure Prevention Engineering Component Improvement / Redesign Advanced FEA Modeling
CASE laboratories are equipped with state of the art instrumentation for precise collection of data from experimentation and testing, digital stereo microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy for greater magnification and compositional analysis of metals, plastics, and other materials. We also have a chemistry laboratory and Senior Forensic Chemist on staff for chemical analysis and identification. In our materials testing laboratory we are performing chemical, corrosion and contamination analysis, and investigating damage involving electrical components, mechanical equipment, pipelines and plumbing components, as well as consumer products such as appliances, chairs and other furnishings, carpets and fabrics, hoses, tires and building materials. Our analyses may include assessing the flammability and heat degradation of plastics and other materials, determining the cause of a failure, the cause of plastic or material deterioration, the effect of additives, or the appropriate use and design of products manufactured out of plastics and other materials. Whatever your need, CASE is your partner in understanding, predicting and controlling your component's life cycle. |
